Synopsis
A Certain Dark Item follows four girls in Academy City's Dark Side, in a city where ESP is treated as an ordinary science. Behind the city's calm, Dark Side groups take on missions that can never be made public. The elite unit ITEM has four members. Takitsubo Rikou reads and tracks the AIM fields of ability users, Frenda Seivelun fights with traps and explosives, Kinuhata Saiai controls nitrogen and handles defense, and Mugino Shizuri is one of the city's seven top Espers. Their story of meeting, friendship and darkness heads toward a terrible incident. J.C.STAFF animates it from a light novel set in the world of A Certain Magical Index.
